SIGCOMM 96: Formatting Information for Authors

The latex style file

The latex style file acmconf.sty can be use to format latex papers to SIGCOMM requirements. The files sigcomm.tex and sigcomm.ps give an example of a latex and postscript file produced by using acmconf.sty. The files sigcomm_long.tex and sigcomm_long.ps give a longer example.

A summary of the style requirements

It is of particular importance that you leave sufficient space in the lower left corner of the first column on the first page for ACM to fill in the copyright information. There is a 12-page limit on your paper. It is possible to use one or two extra pages with the consent of the program chairs.

Point Size: 9 pt.
Spacing between lines: 10 pt.
Column width: 3.33"
2 column gutter: .33"
Left and Right Margin: from edge .75"
Top margin: .75"
Bottom margin 1.00"
