ns: What's New?

December 28, 1995

• New capabilities for ns include RED (Random Early Detection) gateways, CBQ (Class-based Queueing), and two implementations of TCP with SACK (selective acknowledgements).
• In addition to the main test script "test-all", specialized test scripts include "test-all-cbq" for CBQ, "test-all-red" for RED gateways, "test-all-sack" for one of the implementations of TCP with SACK, and "test-sack" for comparisons between Tahoe TCP, Reno TCP, NewReno TCP, and the two implementations of TCP with SACK.
